The following is our statement of belief as laid down by the United Reformed Church (URC). To some the words and expressions used may be unfamiliar and we are always happy to explain in more detail what we believe.
The highest authority for what we believe and do is God’s Word in the Bible, alive for his people today through the help of the Spirit.
We believe that God is our creator, Saviour and sustainer and through the death and resurrection of Jesus we can know his forgiveness, a personal relationship with him and an eternity with him in heaven.'
What we believe leads us in our aim to live and love the way Jesus did.
